A world after civilization
Enter a world of hunger, where the skies are clouded and the sun and moon have disapeared. An age after an unknown old civilization has vanished, with only small traces left and it's inhabitans longing for the golden warmth of light. Explore the eldritch continent of I'bheo, where wild beast roam the lands, nature is unbound, communities and people a scarce and dark things linger.
New civilizations, religions, legends and stories may arise from your adventures!
This book is written from the perspective of a scholar, trying to uncover this mysterious and forgotten times.
A new innovative Dice-System
Use the D4-and D6-Dice-Pool-System with it's special recources "Hunger" and "Hope" to interact with your surroundings and determine the outcome of your actions. May your actions determine the weight of your consequences.
"Hope" and "Hunger" may boost your chances of success, but also impact each other, the NPCs you meet and your own character's morals. Play with them and expierence there unique feedback-loop.
Build your own Moral-Systems
This age will be defined by you and your moral views- Explore different Systems, dismentle them, let them prosper or be forgotten. Use the implemented Moral-Compass to create compelling and versatile Moral-Systems and adjust it to your characters views. Will you let youreselve be consumed by egoistic hunger in this unforgiving world or will you repell the darkness within and be a shining beacon of hope?
Create your own Communities
Settlements are rare, but it may not discourage you from building your own! Create one from scratch and implement the systems that you want. May it be a worldly or religious one. Impose your own rules and deal with their consequences. Use the few natural resources that are avaible and be creative with them. Or join a community and it's moral systems and try to shape them to your contend.
Fast and versatile Character Creation
With this modul comes a fast character creator, that asks the right questions for a deep moral character build. Pick one of the several "Callings" that use your own morals as prowesses and deepen your character with several "Abilties" to create more character depth.
Simple and intensive Combat-System
If words won't suffice, combat may be the only chance to survive. Battle in a two-action-economy-system, where struggles are short, but intensive and have lastings affects on your body and mind. Use your "Hope" and "Hunger" too boost your own or your troupes morales to come out on top, to struggle another day.
Write your own stories
Use the guidelines within the module, to write your won compelling and complex moral stories, where the consequences shape your experience, and may not always be obvious.
These will guide you from coming up with ideas, how to structure your story in comprehensive parts including possible time durations and breaks. Furthermore a layered consequence-system is provided with this book.
Pre-Written adventure
Embark on an adventure with diffrent outcomes, depending on your decisions. Meet complex Characters with their own motivations and goals. Try to blend into an established community and be it's saviour or doom. Use it's replay quality and see what could have been diffrent with it's multiple smaller storylines that converge and influence one another.
